DONATE

Shelter Items Needed

If you would like to support the work we do and help survivors and their families, this is the place to start. We have many ways you can help us achieve our goals - making a donation of goods or cash, organizing a fundraising event or donation drive, volunteering or donating your used vehicle.

Needed shelter items

A good rule of thumb is if it is used in your home, it is needed at the shelter.

The following is a list of items we need the most at the shelter:

Household Items

  • Towels

  • HE Laundry Detergent (for high-efficiency washers)

  • Twin Sheet Sets and White Pillow Cases

  • Cleaning Products

  • Dish Soap

  • Hair Brushes, Combs, Blow-Dryers

  • Disposable Baby Wipes

  • Diapers - Sizes 4, 5, 6 and Pull-Ups

Fresh Produce and Food Items

  • Milk

  • Fruit

  • Vegetables

  • Eggs

  • Bread

  • Juices

  • Frozen Meat

Drives and Challenges

If you are interested in hosting a "Drive", the following items are needed; however, the need is not limited to this list.

     * Gift Cards for gas, groceries, movies and bowling, etc.

     * Pajamas and robes for adults and children (it's nice to have something new the first night in the shelter)

     * Paper Products such as toilet paper, tissues and paper towels

     * Feminine Hygiene Products

     * Infant Supplies such as diapers, wipes, bottles and blankets

     * Cleaning Products such as HE detergents (for high-efficiency washers), fabric softener, dish soap, etc.

     * Canned Food and Lunch or Snack Items

If you are facing a 'Challenge' such as giving up smoking, swearing or weight loss, find sponsors and give to the shelter as you meet your goal. It's a great way to help others as you are helping yourself!
