Advocates is looking for dedicated volunteers willing to commit to training and working with AEDV. Please contact us via the volunteer form on this site or by phone at 775-883-7654 and ask for Traci, the Volunteer Coordinator.

Crisis Hotline volunteers receive 18 hours of intensive intervention training with community speakers, role playing, and crisis tech. Trainings are held in the evenings and on Saturdays. Crisis Hotline calls are handled from the convenience of your own home. Over 105 volunteers are currently involved with helping domestic violence victims, sexual assault victims, fundraising, and the thrift shop.

Advocates' Sexual Assault Response Advocates program (SARA) is looking for volunteers to help with victims of sexual assault. SARA volunteers receive 40 hours of training and are on call for one week every other month, and are asked for a one-year commitment. For more information, please visit the SARA site www.saraadv.org.
